Substituted hydrazine
Substituted hydrazines such as monomethyl hydrazine ( MMH ) or unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine ( UDMH ) are widely used as rocket propellants for space exploration. SNPE early developed their industrial m anufacture according to the Raschig process:

ISOCHEM still produces this way MMH for the space industry but developed also a number of alternative processes for the production of differently substituted hydrazines required by the pharmaceutical and agrochemical markets.

ISOCHEM offers in addition to its Raschig process capability other synthetic solutions for alkyl hydrazines production like alkylation and N-amination with Hydroxylamine O-Sulfonic acid.

Furthermore, substituted hydrazines are routinely used by ISOCHEM for the production of heterocycles such as pyrazoles and pyridazines.
